Different metal materials has different performances
Chassis are now made from galvanized steel sheet metal. The advantage of this metal is better corrosion resistance. Steel is easy corrosive exposed to humid air. Galvanized steel sheet metal can rely on a dense oxide protective layer of zinc metal in the air to protect the internal steel structure. In the case of scratching, galvanized steel part can delay rust, thicker zinc coating has stronger corrosion resistance than normal. As for stainless steel chassis, it can resist humid air, acid, alkali, salt and has strong strength. To achieve the effect of corrosion resistance, Chromium (Cr) amount is not less than 13%. In addition to nickel (Ni) or molybdenum (Mo) can enhance the effect. AS for magnesium alloy chassis, it is the lightest metal material which is high strength, fatigue resistance, impact resistance, good anti-static properties. But it has poor corrosion resistance.
